If you want to relax and enjoy some inspiring videos, check out the channel Moments of Silence and click on the two little arrows to see them in larger size or even in full screen mode with the pop-up window.
I recently visited Bali together with a large group of Sri Chinmoy’s students. Near Denpasar airport I found this powerful sculpture-fountain featuring Krishna and Arjuna on the chariot. I chose a simple black & white presentation to emphasize the structures and forms. You can find this 7th episode of “Moments of Silence” on www.srichinmoy.tv in two sizes: a smaller iPhone version and a larger HD version. Older episodes of “Moments of Silence” on themes such as Haleakula, Maui, Water, St. John the Divine Cathedral, Daibutsu and “The Faces of 500 Buddhas” can be found here.
I am happy that my new video channel “Moments of Silence” is now featured for 4 days on the front oage of the miro video directory, one of the best video showcases in the internet. To be able to watch the channels and their videos you have to download the miro software (see red miro button in the left colomn of the blog). The software is free and contains more than 5000 channels, many of them in HD resolution. Alone today 173 people subscribed to “Moments of Silence”!
Vodpod videos no longer available.
On the left side bar you can see a new widget that invites you to watch my video channels on Miro. If you have not downloaded Miro, you can do so before watching or subscribing to my channels. Miro is a free software that allows you to select from more than 5,000 channels. And what is great about Miro, the quality cannot be compared with normal video sites like YouTube and others. There are also many HD channels which allow you to watch the videos in good quality full screen. My two channels are “LIFE Voices” with inspiring interviews from around the world, always published on the 13th of each month. The second is called “Moments of Silence” and features quiet and meditative videos like the one I am publishing on the blog here: 500 Faces of the Buddha – stone sculptures filmed on a temple ground in Southern Japan. You can watch it here on the blog or as mentioned on Miro. If you subscribe to a channel in Miro, the newest episodes are automatically donwnloaded once you open the software. In the preferences you can also decide if you want Miro to be opened when you start your computer. On the opening page of Miro you will find all new additions and featured videos in the different categories. Together with vimeo, these are certainly the two best video directories in the web.
