The man behind the statues of Sri Chinmoy

In the last couple of years live-size statues of spiritual teacher and peace advocate Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007) have been placed in Oslo, Bali, Prague, Puerto Rico, Nepal, Mazatlan , Vaasa and Seattle. The artist behind these sculpures is Kaivalya Torpy from England. I recently had the chance to speak with him in Nepal, where the latest statute was inaugurated on a hill near Kathmandu in Nagarkot. Kaivalya speaks about the beginnings of his artistry, the many faces of sculpting Sri Chinmoy and very exciting plans for the future. Learn more in this newest episode of LIFE Voices, #33!
