New sculpture for Oslo Peace Port

Early this week the “World’s First Sri Chinmoy Peace Port” in Oslo got an important addition. English sculptor Kaivalya Torpy made a beautiful man-size sculpture of meditation teacher and peace advocate Sri Chinmoy who passed away a year ago. The bronze figure ressemble Sri Chinmoy so much that some visitors had to touch the sculpture to be convinced it is not real. A dozen of officials from Oslo and an international group of Sri Chinmoy’s students from around the world attended the ceremony in splendid weather. From now on the sculptor together with the “Eternal Peace Flame” will be remembered by lovers of peace and harmony at Oslo’s port.
